Air quality and fresh mountain air are unreal here, really cleared my mind. Weather was chilly but sunny. Recommend packing layers and boots.
Had a mellow trip, enjoyed peaceful walks by the river. Not many nightlife options though, so it felt quiet after dinner. Good place to unwind.
Taxi rides can get expensive fast. Use the village shuttle bus pass if you plan to get around, it costs less and runs frequently. Best value for transit.
The Gornergrat Bahn ride is great early in the morning before crowds arrive. Buy tickets in advance online to save a few francs. Pack snacks for the journey.
Zermatt is stunning but super touristy, especially in summer. Crowds can be a bit much, but the Alps views make up for it. Plan for some downtime.
