Бързи факти: This basilica has been watching over Marseille from the top of the La Garde hill, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. Each year, more than a million visitors come to admire its architecture and its golden statue of the Virgin and Child, a protective symbol for sailors.
