Бързи факти: More than 600 painted tombs from the 4th century form this early Christian funerary complex. The frescoes reveal biblical scenes and Christian symbols in an impressive state of conservation.

Акценти: In the Burial Chamber of Saint Peter and Saint Paul you will see frescoes that shine with ocher and red colors as if they had been painted yesterday. One of the tombs contains the oldest known depiction of the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus in all of Christian art.
