- Skip the tourist-packed summit restaurant and walk 10 minutes down to Sonnalpin for better prices and equally stunning glacier views.
- Arrive before 9 AM to catch the first cable car and have the summit nearly to yourself before the tour buses arrive.
- Wear sturdy shoes and layers, the temperature can swing from 25°C in the valley to near freezing at the top.
