Hurtige fakta: Twenty-one buildings by seventeen different architects make up this 1927 housing experiment, including designs by Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe, and J.J.P. Oud. The entire estate was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2016, cementing its status as a turning point in modernist architecture.
Højdepunkter: The two houses Le Corbusier designed here, the Citrohan House and the semi-detached houses, were so radical for their time that locals nicknamed them the "Arab village" because of their flat roofs and white cubic forms. Inside, you can still see his original layout tricks like the double-height living room and a roof terrace that feels suspended over the city.

- Bring a camera with a wide-angle lens, the interior spaces in the museum feel cramped without one.
- Join the guided tour that starts at the museum, it unlocks access to a third original interior you can't see otherwise.
