Højdepunkter: En stabil gletsjertræk siden 1930’erne har udvidet lagunen til cirka 18 kvadratkilometer, hvilket tillader massive, husstore isbjerge at kalve ud i åbent vand. Solnedgange kan farve isen orange, mens tordnende kalve-lyde bæres flere kilometer væk og skaber en anden verdslig lydkulisse.
