If visiting Agra in the summer, plan activities early morning or late evening. The mid-day sun is brutal and indoor AC spots are limited.
Loved the mix of chaotic markets and calm gardens. The street food near the Jama Masjid was surprisingly good and cheap. Expect crowds around mid-morning.
I enjoyed Agra's vibe despite the dust and noise. The local cafes served nice chai and snacks at good prices. Three days give a relaxed pace to explore.
Be ready for haggling on everything. The moto rickshaw fare doubled once they saw we were foreigners. Bring cash but small bills only.
Book your Taj Mahal tour online in advance. Tickets sell out quickly especially on weekends. Early slot is best to avoid heat and crowds.
