Loved Bogor's cool air and casual pace, street food is great, but expect afternoon rain. One full day isn't enough.
Best way to save on short trips is grab an angkot, usually 3-6k, carry exact change and ask the driver for your stop.
Mornings are humid then heavy showers, gardens are pretty but get crowded on weekends. Food is cheap and tasty.
Go to the Botanical Gardens at 6:30 AM for quiet photos and cooler air, and skip weekends if you hate crowds.
Early walks in Bogor Botanical Gardens felt magical, mist and old trees. Bring a light jacket for damp mornings.
