Hurtige fakta: Roughly 80 vehicles crowd two old tram depot sheds, from horse-drawn carriages to gleaming 1940s fire engines. A squad of dedicated volunteers restores every machine by hand, and the pride of the fleet is a 1902 coastal tram that carried locals up the cliffside for nearly six decades.
Højdepunkter: Star of the shed is tram number 9, the last survivor of its coastal line, its original wooden benches still bolted where passengers once braced for the cliffside climb. Ring its brass bell and you'll hear the same clear chime that echoed along the seafront from 1902 until the route closed in 1959.

- Wear sturdy shoes and a rain jacket, because the historic sheds leave you partly open to Atlantic weather
- Shoot from a low crouch to catch chrome reflections, and visit on a bright day so the vintage paintwork pops
- Arrive right at opening time on a weekday to often have a whole shed to yourself
