Hurtige fakta: Med 42 kilometer er dette Irlands længste offroad vandre- og cykelsti, der følger ruten for en tidligere smalsporet jernbane. Sporbedet blev oprindeligt anlagt i 1890'erne til at transportere tørv, kvæg og post mellem Westport og Achill Island.

- Stop at the Derradda Viewpoint around kilometer 22; on clear days you can count all 365 islands in Clew Bay.
- Skip the electric bike unless you have limited mobility; the gradient never exceeds 2 percent, so a standard bike is plenty.
