Hurtige fakta: Museet rummer over 4.000 værker i en stor sovjettidsbygning, der oprindeligt blev opført som revolutionsmuseum. Samlingen spænder fra litauisk avantgarde til internationale klassikere som Andy Warhol og Jasper Johns.

Højdepunkter: På øverste etage bader et stort glasmosaikvindue af den litauiske kunstner Kazys Morkūnas trappeopgangen i skiftende ravfarvet lys hele dagen. Den faste udstilling omfatter også et sjældent set hologramportræt af Jonas Mekas, den legendariske avantgarde-instruktør, som flimrer til live, når du går forbi.
