Hurtige fakta: Ni forskellige gallerier fordelt på to etager viser 7.000 års omansk historie, fra forhistoriske redskaber til moderne maritime artefakter. Over 800 genstande er udstillet, herunder en kæmpe røgelsesbrænder brugt ved Sultans palads og en 1500-tals portugisisk kanon genfundet fra havet.
