Yenisei River Embankment
Bedste tid at besøge
Late afternoon to sunset (May through September) for warm weather and golden light over the river. Winter visits (December to February) reward you with frozen river panoramas and fewer crowds.
Budgettips
The embankment is completely free and open 24 hours. Bring your own coffee or snacks from a nearby shop to avoid the higher prices at the few small kiosks along the path.

Insidertips
- Start at the Orlikha boat station end and walk toward the Kommunalny Bridge to keep the best views ahead of you.
- For the most dramatic photo, climb the stairs to the observation deck at the Vysotsky monument around 8 PM in summer.
- Rent a bike from one of the city's shared docking stations rather than walking the full 6 kilometers each way.
- Skip the fenced-off sections near the ship terminal and stick to the main pedestrian stretch from Surikova Street to the bridge.
