Hurtige fakta: Mere end 20 Liberty-stil villaer linjer vandkanten, bygget mellem 1909 og 1920'erne af Palermos elite som sommerresidenser. Arkitekter som Ernesto Basile blandede blomstermotiver, smedejernsudsmykninger og pastelfacader, der skinner forskelligt på hver time af dagslyset.
Højdepunkter: Villa Pojero har stadig sin originale keramiske ovn indenfor, dekoreret med håndmalede fliser, der forestiller sicilianske citronlunde.
