Hurtige fakta: The Liptó Museum houses more than 140,000 museum objects, including a stunning mineral collection and folk architectural monuments. The museum building was once a post office and a town lodging, and today it is one of the most important collection sites of the Liptó region's history.
Højdepunkter: In the museum's basement you will find an original 17th-century prison cell, where prisoner names and years scratched into the wall are still visible today. The most interesting part is that a secret tunnel opening was discovered in the cell wall, which once led to the town's main square and may have served as an escape route for prisoners.

- Ask for the basement tour separately; the prison cell can only be viewed this way.
