Hurtige fakta: Liptói Múzeumet rummer over 140.000 museumsgenstande, herunder en imponerende mineralsamling og folkelige arkitektoniske mindesmærker. Museumsbygningen var engang et postkontor og en bymæssig overnatningsplads, men i dag er den et af de vigtigste samlingssteder for Liptó-regionens historie.
Højdepunkter: I museets kælder finder du en original fængselscelle fra 1600-tallet, hvor indridsede fangenavne og årstal stadig kan ses på muren. Det mest interessante er, at man har opdaget åbningen til en hemmelig tunnel i cellens væg, som engang førte til byens hovedtorv og kunne have været brugt til fangers flugt.
