General entry costs 7 EUR, with free admission on Wednesdays and Sundays after 4:00 PM (closing at 6:30 PM). The Madrid City Pass or Paseo del Arte card does not include this museum, but students and seniors get reduced rates.

Højdepunkter: Et rum rummer skelettet af "Big Bertha", en 40 tons tung afrikansk elefant, der engang levede i Madrids zoologiske have, side om side med et uhyggeligt komplet Megatherium-dovendyrsfossil fra Argentina. Hvalgalleriet hænger et 20 meter langt finhvalskelet ned fra loftet, så du kan gå direkte under Jordens næststørste dyr.
Insidertips
- Head straight to the Biodiversity Hall on the top floor first, it's the most impressive and least crowded early in the day.
- Touch the 100-kilo meteorite in the Minerals Hall, it's one of the few exhibits you're actually allowed to handle.
- Skip the crowded ground floor T. rex area on weekends and save it for the last 30 minutes before closing.
- Photography without flash is permitted everywhere, the whale skeleton hall has great lighting around 2:00 PM.
