Hurtige fakta: En hollandsk kolonikirke bygget af kommandør Casparus de Jong. Kirken stod færdig i 1755, og dens gulv er helt brolagt med gravfliser fra den gamle hollandske kirkegård. Det hvælvede loft med sine indviklede træbjælker har holdt sammen i over 260 år uden et eneste søm, kun ved hjælp af træpinde og samlinger.

Over dig blev de massive 1700-tals teakbjælker, der holder taget sammen, samlet med intet andet end træpinde og har overlevet monsuner og århundreders saltluft uden en eneste metalsamling.
