Walking across the bridge is completely free. If you want the best photo, it is worth renting a boat with a rower for 50,000 VND (about 50 CZK) for 20 minutes. You will ride directly under the bridge.

Hurtige fakta: Hver aften lyser broen op skiftevis i syv farver, hvilket dagligt tiltrækker over 10.000 besøgende til en gåtur på dens 402 meter. Under dens buer sejler snesevis af udflugtsbåde, der byder på udsigt over den oplyste by fra Huong-floden.

- Photographers should arrive at 6:30 PM to capture the blue hour and the first lighting of the bridge in one shot.
- Instead of walking on the bridge, sit in the tea house on the left bank. From there you have the whole bridge in perspective and the crowds are not pushing you.
- Avoid Saturday evenings, when the bridge is most crowded with locals and tourists.
- Take a light jacket even in summer. In the evening a pleasant cool wind blows from the river.
