Kohokohdat: Vuosittaisen vaunujuhlan aikana 400 vuotta vanha puinen vaunu vedetään Triplicanen katujen läpi satojen palvojien voimin, sen massiiviset pyörät natisevat perinteen painon alla. Temppelin sisäseinillä on 24 pilaria, joihin on kaiverrettu myyttisiä leijonia ja yaleja, jokainen kertoo omaa unohdettua tarinaansa Puranoista.

- Remove footwear at the designated counters outside, and bring socks to protect your feet from the hot stone floor in summer.
- The temple museum near the entrance displays ancient artifacts and inscriptions, most visitors walk right past it.
- Combine your visit with a walk through the surrounding Triplicane neighborhood, famous for its traditional filter coffee stalls and historic buildings.
