Nopeat faktat: Neitsyt Marian katedraali on seissyt Novi Sadin keskustassa vuodesta 1895, ja sen 76 metriä korkea torni on koko kaupungin korkein rakennus. Alkuperäinen romaaninen kirkko tällä paikalla tuhoutui pommituksessa vuonna 1849.
