Nopeat faktat: Demänovskan Vapaudenluolan 8 kilometrin pituisista käytävistä 2,1 kilometriä on vierailtavissa, ja sen sisäänkäynti avautuu 60 metriä syvästä rotkosta. Se löydettiin vuonna 1921, ja siitä lähtien se on ollut yksi Slovakian suosituimmista tippukiviluolista, jota vuosittain vierailee yli 200 000 turistia.

- Put on a thick sweater even in summer, as the cave is a constant 6-7 degrees throughout.
- Photography is permitted even without a tripod, but flash does not bring out many formations nicely, so try to take advantage of the natural colored lighting.
- The last daily tour is usually less crowded than the morning time slots.
- The parking lot in front of the cave is free, but in the tourist season it is worth arriving early for the spaces.
