The 12-meter high King's Cross ceiling soars above 120,000 hand-painted golden tiles that sparkle like a medieval manuscript.
Kohokohdat: Step inside and look up: the 12-meter reading room ceiling is covered in 120,000 hand-painted gold tiles, each one individually crafted by Moroccan artisans. A single tile costs more than most people's monthly rent, and the room was modeled after a 15th-century Italian Renaissance library.
