Γρήγορα στοιχεία: Η βανίλια από τις φυτείες της ανατολικής ακτής, που προσφέρουν εδώ οι πάγκοι, καλύπτει περίπου το 80% της παγκόσμιας φυσικής παραγωγής. Περίπου 300 έμποροι πουλούν εδώ μπαχαρικά, λαχανικά, υφάσματα από ράφια και ξυλόγλυπτα, και κάθε τιμή μπορεί να διαπραγματευτεί μέχρι και στο μισό.
