Γρήγορα στοιχεία: On just 4.5 hectares of land, this green space hides over 40 species of palms and exotic plants brought from all continents. From its cliffs, a view opens over the entire bay and the islands of Manoel and Tigné, which were once strategic defense points.

Αξιοσημείωτα: At the very top sits an old cannon from the British period, positioned to look straight out to sea, and children still play around it today as if it were part of a playground. At dusk, when the lights of Valletta turn on across the bay, the whole park takes on a golden color you will not see on any postcard.

• Wear sneakers with good grip because some of the paths are uneven and slope down toward the cliffs
• The best photo is from the eastern edge of the park, where the whole bay fits into the frame with Valletta in the background
• The western part of the park is almost always empty, even though the view is identical to the one on the main path
• Shorten your visit to half an hour before the midday tourist groups arrive around 11
