Σχετικά
Γρήγορα στοιχεία: Amazon giant fish like the paiche, which can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh 200 kg, live here. The lagoon was formed from a dead river arm and is surrounded by dense rainforest where howler monkeys and sloths live.
Αξιοσημείωτα: In the animal station, orphaned animals or those rescued from poaching are nursed back to health, including a tame hippopotamus named Pepe that lets visitors pet it. The 1.3 km long educational trail through the rainforest leads to an observation tower from which you can see the entire lagoon and the treetops.
