Γρήγορα στοιχεία: Around 9,000 years ago, this settlement on the Danube's banks housed fish-eaters who carved haunting trapezoidal-foreheaded stone sculptures. The site's exceptionally preserved architecture reveals houses with precise trapezoidal floor plans and lime-plastered hearths arranged in a near-mathematical pattern.
