Γρήγορα στοιχεία: Soaring 120 meters above the El Tajo gorge, this 18th-century limestone bridge connects the old and new quarters of Ronda. Over 40 prisoners were held inside its central chamber during the Spanish Civil War, adding a haunting chapter to its history.

• The interpretive center inside the bridge closes at 6 PM, so visit the chamber early if that interests you.
