Γρήγορα στοιχεία: Crescent-shaped and stretching nearly two kilometers, the beach faces the Indian Ocean with turquoise waters that stay calm during the southwest monsoon from November to April. Right at one end, a massive rocky outcrop called Parrot Rock emerges from the shallows, completely accessible on foot at low tide.
Αξιοσημείωτα: At dawn, local fishermen still push their single-hulled outrigger canoes into the surf using techniques passed down for generations, their silhouettes backlit by the rising sun. Between December and March, you can watch blue whales and sperm whales spouting just a few kilometers offshore, making this one of the best land-based whale watching spots on the planet.
