Gyors tények: A Sahat Tepe domb Plovdiv hét történelmi dombjának egyike, amelyek mindegyikének megvan a maga rajongótábora a helyiek körében. Egy 19. századi óratorony koronázza meg ezt a 15 méteres magaslatot, és őrzi a város terpeszkedő háztetőit 1884 óta.

Főbb látnivalók: A csúcson egy megviselt kőórát találsz, amelynek egyetlen mutatója még mindig ketyeg, szédítő, az óramutató járásával ellentétes irányban, ami zavarba ejti az első látogatókat és elbűvöli a törzsvendégeket. Ez a 130 éves szerkezetet 48 óránként kézzel kell felhúzni, egy olyan rituálét, amelyet három generáción át ugyanaz az órás család végzett.
