Gyors tények: Krisnának, Visnu egyik avatárájának szentelve a templom neve "Ardzsuna szekérhajtóját" jelenti a Mahábháratából. A szentély Visnu öt formájának ad otthont egyetlen szentélyben, ami ritkaságnak számít a dél-indiai vaisnava templomok körében.
Főbb látnivalók: Az éves szekérfesztivál alatt a 400 éves fa szekeret több száz hívő húzza végig Triplicane utcáin, hatalmas kerekei nyögnek a hagyomány súlya alatt. A templom belső falain 24 oszlop található, amelyekre mitikus oroszlánokat és jálikat faragtak, mindegyik a Puránák elfeledett történetét meséli el.

- Visit on Saturdays when the temple sees special alankaram (decoration) of the deities with fresh flowers and jewels.
- Remove footwear at the designated counters outside, and bring socks to protect your feet from the hot stone floor in summer.
- The temple museum near the entrance displays ancient artifacts and inscriptions, most visitors walk right past it.
- Combine your visit with a walk through the surrounding Triplicane neighborhood, famous for its traditional filter coffee stalls and historic buildings.
