Gyors tények: Shiva úrnak szentelt templom a Kavvayi holtág partján, Észak-Keralában. A fő istenség egy magától megnyilvánult (Swayambhu) Shiva lingam, amelyet a helyiek szerint egy gazda talált meg szántás közben évszázadokkal ezelőtt.
Főbb látnivalók: Ellentétben a legtöbb keralai templom magas gopuramjaival, a szentély itt egy kicsi, alacsony mennyezetű építmény, ahová behajolva kell belépni, így meghitt találkozást teremtve az istenséggel.
