Gyors tények: Fifty-six breweries once crowded this riverside district, churning out sake with mineral-rich Miyamizu water piped down from Mount Rokko. More than 1,000 cedar barrels now stand stacked in the preserved storehouses, a few of them hollowed and stitched together over a century ago.
