Petty theft, unlicensed drivers, and inflated prices are the things to watch most. Stay alert in crowded markets and around transport hubs, and always use official or app-based taxis.

Reális taxiár (hivatalos, nappali): 250 ₱ - 450 ₱ (3,5 € - 6,5 €). Use the official airport taxi rank or book through the Grab app. Unlicensed drivers outside the terminal often quote 2 to 3 times the metered rate. Agree on the fare or insist on the meter before starting.
Borravaló: Not mandatory. 10% is appreciated in restaurants when service is good. Small tips for porters and taxi drivers are fine but not expected.
