Gyors tények: A csupasz hegygerinc 900 méterrel emelkedik egyenesen a Vipava-völgy aljzatából, legmagasabb pontja, a Suhi vrh pedig 1 313 méteren tetőzik. A hurrikánerősségű bóra olyan gyakran sepri végig a kitett csúcsot, hogy az állandó pásztortelepülések már réges-rég eltűntek.
Főbb látnivalók: Derült napokon egyetlen panoráma tárul eléd a Julián-Alpoktól az Adriai-tengerig, nagyjából 200 kilométernyi horizont, amit máskülönben három külön csúcsról lehetne csak látni. Vojko menedékháza, a fennsík egyetlen alpesi menedékháza egy 1943-ban ezen a gerincen megölt partizán írónak állít emléket, vendégkönyve pedig siklóernyősök neveivel telik meg, valahányszor a bóra végre alábbhagy.

- Pack a windproof shell even in July, gusts on the ridgeline can pass 100 km/h with almost no warning.
- Visit right after a rainstorm clears, the washed air gives the longest line of sight toward the sea.
- Skip the crowded highway pull-off and use the summit's low stone wall as your photo ledge instead.
