Főbb látnivalók: During summer solstice, a narrow beam of sunlight passes through a small opening in the dome and lands precisely on a specific mosaic tile near the altar, a phenomenon the builders incorporated intentionally. Locals still gather on rooftops during the Moros y Cristianos festival to watch fireworks reflect off the glazed tiles, turning the entire dome into a kaleidoscope.

- Wear flat, closed-toe shoes; the final staircase to the dome is steep and narrow with uneven stone steps.
- The best photo angle of the dome is from Carrer de la Puríssima, a side street about 200 meters southwest.
- Skip midday visits June through August when the interior gets stuffy and the white exterior creates harsh glare.
- Arrive 15 minutes before opening to have the winding staircases almost entirely to yourself.
