Gyors tények: Hadrianus római császár i.sz. 130-ban látogatott Antalyába, és ezt a háromíves márványkaput az ő érkezésének emlékére építették. A kapu évszázadokon át a városfalak alatt rejtőzött egészen az 1950-es évekig, amikor egy gondos feltárás szinte tökéletes állapotban hozta napvilágra.
Főbb látnivalók: Nézze meg a kapu két oldaltornyát: a déli eredeti római építmény, míg az északit századokkal később a szeldzsuk törökök építették újjá, így két birodalom véletlen időkapszuláját alkotva. A boltívek mentén található finom növényi díszítményeken még mindig láthatók az eredeti festés nyomai, amelyek egykor életre keltették őket.

- For the best photo, position yourself on the old town side and frame the shot through the central arch to capture the tower beyond.
- The grooves worn into the marble road surface beneath the gate are actual Roman-era chariot tracks.
