4.0Got there at 8:30am, almost no line. Bought timed tickets and paid $20 extra for the modern art exhibit which was absolutely worth it.
Arrived at 9am with a short line. Paid $30 general admission; Egyptian wing and American Wing were worth it, rooftop cafe pricey.
Went at 4pm and it was packed, felt rushed. Skipped the $7 audio guide and still loved the Impressionists but sculpture rooms were too crowded.
