About
Quick facts: The church stands in the middle of a small island on Lake Bled, and is best known for the tradition of bell ringing, where visitors can try to ring the bell. The bell is made of more than 10 kilograms of copper and is a symbol of wish fulfillment.
Highlights: 99 steps lead up to the island, each step associated with a local legend or story, providing a unique experience during the ascent. From the church window, an incredible panorama opens up over Lake Bled and the snow-capped peaks of the Alps, offering a picturesque view.
