Szybkie fakty: Its interior is covered floor to ceiling with luminous 12th-century Byzantine mosaics that shimmer gold with every step you take. The church was originally built for a Greek admiral, but the Benedictine nuns who took over in the 1400s added a stunning Baroque makeover to one side.
