Szybkie fakty: Every day over 40 ferry departures leave from this dock bound for Valletta, and the journey takes only 10 minutes. The ferry line has been operating since 1905 and connects the two shores of the Grand Harbor across 400 meters of water.

Avoid the periods between 8:00 and 9:00 in the morning and 5:00 and 6:00 in the evening when locals are returning from work. If you are not in a hurry, skip the bus and one departure, and enjoy the wind on the upper deck. Combine the ferry arrival with a walk along the Sliema coast, which is over 2 kilometers long.
