Stayed 3 days and felt it was enough to cover the main areas. The beach is lovely but gets crowded fast, especially afternoon.
The bus system is super easy with a rechargeable card, saves a ton compared to tickets. Also, mornings are best for beaches unless you like a crowd.
Fuengirola has a chill vibe, perfect for a relaxed week. Food was decent but a bit pricey near the beach, weather was sunny and warm in May.
Liked Fuengirola overall, good mix of beaches and town. Some spots felt touristy though, and the nightlife is kinda quiet compared to bigger cities.
For cheaper eats, avoid the beachfront restaurants. Walk two blocks inland and you’ll find authentic tapas at way better prices.
