If you're an outdoors lover, the hiking around the lakes is unbeatable. Though, some trails are harder than advertised, bring proper shoes.
Local buses can be tricky, buy tickets from kiosks beforehand because drivers don’t always sell on board. Saves hassle.
Buy chocolates from local small shops rather than touristy ones, the quality and prices are better.
Best time to visit is spring or fall to avoid tourist rush and enjoy mild weather. Winter is beautiful but extremely cold and expensive.
Bariloche's scenery is stunning but be ready for sudden weather changes. Loved the local chocolates more than the overpriced ski stuff. Stay at least 4 days.
