Rýchle fakty: Vlastní najväčšiu zbierku meteoritov v Austrálii, s približne 13 tisíc kusmi. Nájdete tu aj jedinú kompletnú kostru veľryby zobákovej v austrálskom múzeu.
Zaujímavosti: V sále vypchatých zvierat čaká na návštevníkov tasmánsky tiger konzervovaný v alkohole už od roku 1930, jeden z mála existujúcich exemplárov tohto vyhynutého druhu. Za sklom môžete vidieť každý detail jeho tela vrátane charakteristických pruhov na chrbte, akoby zomrel včera.
