Rýchle fakty: Over 20 meters tall and spanning 100 meters across, this tufa waterfall was formed over thousands of years by mineral-rich water depositing calcium carbonate. Summer visitors cool off in the deep turquoise swimming hole beneath the cascades, surrounded by lush greenery that feels a world away from nearby cities.
Zaujímavosti: Unlike most waterfalls you can only admire from a distance, you can swim right up to the base of these 20-meter cascades and let the cool water pound your shoulders in a natural massage. The falls spread across a 100-meter-wide horseshoe, creating a massive open-air swimming pool surrounded by cliffs draped in moss and ferns.
3. Sarajevo Tunnel of Hope

Step into a living Ottoman painting, frozen in time since the 15th century. You'll wander cobblestone alleys past stone mosques, climb a medieval fortress tower, and hear only the sound of the river below.
Rýchle fakty: Perched on a steep hillside above the Neretva River, this fortified village has been continuously inhabited since the 14th century. The octagonal clock tower is one of the few surviving examples of Ottoman-era timekeeping architecture in the entire Balkan region.

Hot as hell in August, no joke. Kravice waterfalls saved us. But the countryside is stunning. People are genuinely warm and helpful even with the language barrier. Would come back in spring.
Man, the food here is just incredible. Cevapi with kajmak, burek for breakfast, honestly I was stuffed every single day. Sarajevo has this energy that's hard to describe. Three days felt too short.
Honestly kind of underwhelmed. Maybe my expectations were too high. The war history is heavy and important but after a while it's a lot. Roads are rough if you rent a car. Not sure I'd return.
Mostar was pretty but way too touristy for my taste. Old town feels like a theme park with all the souvenir shops. Sarajevo felt more authentic and way cheaper. Stayed 4 nights which was enough.
If you're taking the train from Sarajevo to Mostar, sit on the left side for the best views of the Neretva canyon. Tickets are cheap but buy them a day early, they sell out fast.
