Rýchle fakty: Tento františkánsky kláštor vlastní najväčšiu zbierku modelov jasličiek na svete, ktorá má viac ako 600 kusov. V kláštore sa nachádza aj miniatúrna kópia "Zlatej brány", ktorej dizajn je inšpirovaný slávnymi bronzovými dverami florentského baptistéria San Giovanni.
Zaujímavosti: V podzemnej krypte kláštora sa nachádza jaskyňa ručne vytvorená z 500 000 prírodných kameňov, ktorá zobrazuje betlehemský jasličky. Každý kameň pochádza z inej krajiny a hovorí sa, že ich priniesli pútnici zo svojich domovských krajín spolu s hlinou a horninami.

- Wear comfortable shoes. The stone floor in the underground grotto is uneven, but it is worth taking your time to explore slowly.
- Pick up a free multilingual guide booklet at the entrance. It is more efficient than looking things up on your phone.
- Do not rush off. The olive trees and rose garden in the courtyard are perfect for sitting quietly for a moment, almost undisturbed.
- Photography is allowed, but the underground grotto is quite dark. It is recommended to bring a camera with a large aperture or use your phone's night mode.
