Rýchle fakty: Výstup pokrýva vertikálny rozdiel okolo 800 metrov a chodník prechádza cez tri rôzne vegetačné pásma až na vrchol vo výške 1 050 metrov. Za jasného počasia sú odtiaľto vidieť Lagúna Toro, záliv Ultima Esperanza a až 150 kilometrov ďaleké ľadovce.
Zaujímavosti: Vrcholové buky sú tu ohnuté západnými vetrami až do 45 stupňov a stará kamenná geodetická pyramída sa medzi nimi skrýva na samom vrchole. Uprostred úplného ticha, prerušovaného len vzduchom a zvonením ovčích zvončekov zdola, pohľad zachytáva celý hrebeň Torres del Paine z výšky 1 050 metrov.

- Wear trekking shoes with good grip, because the forested part of the trail is loose and very steep 30 minutes below the summit.
- Ten minutes before the summit, look for a stone platform with a panorama of Laguna Toro, the ideal secluded photo spot.
- Set out by 9 a.m., because on the trail you encounter the fewest people and the light is best for photos.
- Avoid the hike after a rainy night, because the muddy stretches become slippery and make the ascent tricky.
