Spring and autumn (April-May, September-October) have the most pleasant weather; avoid the intense heat of July-August. Arrive before 10 a.m., when the sunlight slants into the canyon, making the rock walls most vibrant and the photos best.

Admission is about 40 yuan per person, with an additional 20 yuan for the sightseeing bus. Bring your own water and snacks into the canyon, as there are no shops inside. After 4 p.m., some ticket scalpers may sell leftover tickets at a discount.

Rýchle fakty: Červené skalné útvary vyzerajú, akoby boli spálené ohňom. Na najužšom mieste kaňonu sa dá prejsť len bokom. Toto miesto bolo kedysi dôležitou cestou na Hodvábnej ceste a na skalných stenách sa dodnes zachovali budhistické jaskynné maľby staré vyše tisíc rokov.
Zaujímavosti: Keď vstúpite hlbšie do kaňonu, dvojstometrové červené skalné steny po oboch stranách vyzerajú, akoby ich rozťala obrovská sekera. Poludňajšie slnko preniká úzkym pásom oblohy a zafarbuje celý kaňon do horiacej zlatočervenej farby. Najúchvatnejšia je prirodzene vytvorená skalná stena "Veľkého Budhu" na konci kaňonu, vysoká viac ako 200 metrov s výraznými obrysmi, ktorú miestni pastieri po stáročia považujú za stelesnenie božstva.

- After entering the canyon, first take the branch path on the right.
- It has fewer visitors and richer rock colors.
- Bring a pair of non-slip shoes. Some sections of the canyon have stream water flowing through, and the rocks are very slippery.
- The best photo spot is at the end of the "One Line Sky" section. Stand on the stone steps and shoot against the light to capture the effect of beams of light piercing through the canyon.
- Don't just stick to the main path. Turn into the small side trails on both sides, where ancient murals undiscovered by others may be hidden on the rock walls in those unmanned areas.
