Rýchle fakty: Viac ako 80 000 ľudí sa tu môže naraz modliť na rozsiahlom nádvorí a v stĺpových sálach. Jej výstavba začala koncom 19. storočia za vlády ženskej panovníčky, Nawab Shah Jahan Begum, a pokračovala vo fázach počas desaťročí.
