Rýchle fakty: Dva z originálnych prstov Galilea a zub sú tu zachované vo sklenenej vitríne; odstránili ich z jeho tela obdivovatelia v roku 1737. Múzeum drží 1 000 vedeckých prístrojov z obdobia od 11. do 19. storočia, vrátane jedného z najstarších známych astrolábov z roku 1085.
Zaujímavosti: Hlavnou atrakciou je Galileov vlastný modifikovaný teleskop, presne ten, cez ktorý observoval Jupiterove mesiace a prvý raz tvrdil, že Zem sa pohybuje okolo Slnka. Na opotrebovaných mosadzných objímkach sa zachovali otisky prstov samého muža, zachované presne tak, ako ich zanechal v roku 1610.
