Rýchle fakty: Rising 606 meters above sea level, this limestone massif offers a 360-degree panorama that stretches from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Conca d'Oro valley. The trail climbs past three historic chapels, each marking a station of Santa Rosalia's journey from the royal court to her hermit cave.
Zaujímavosti: At the summit's Santuario di Santa Rosalia, locals still leave handwritten notes and personal mementos at the saint's cave, a tradition tied to the 1624 plague when her bones were paraded through Palermo to end the epidemic. On September 4th each year, thousands walk this same trail barefoot at dawn carrying candles, recreating the original procession that saved the city.

- Start from the Parco della Favorita side for a gentler incline and shaded path through pine forest rather than the steep road approach.
- Wear sturdy shoes the rocky limestone path gets slippery after rain and the final stretch to the hermit cave is uneven.
